The team at Wally Armour Jeep is thrilled to announce that you can now test drive the new Jeep Grand Cherokee at our Jeep dealership. The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee continues the fifth Grand Cherokee generation that was introduced for the 2022 model year. The most notable update last year was that Jeep had consolidated the standard-wheelbase Grand Cherokee and the extended-wheelbase model known as the Grand Cherokee L into a singular lineup with all of the same trim levels and options.
The Grand Cherokee 4xe, which has a plug-in hybrid powertrain, is still maintained as a separate model, and this is notable because Jeep has made changes to the Trailhawk. The Trailhawk is an off-road-oriented version of the Grand Cherokee, and it’s no longer available with the standard model. Instead, it’s exclusive to the 4xe due to the additional horsepower and torque that you get from that setup. Jeep now offers the standard Grand Cherokee in four core trim levels: Laredo, Limited, Overland, and Summit. The Laredo is the most affordable trim but still impressively well-equipped, and the Altitude is an alternative that adds an appearance package and several popular options.
The next step up is the Limited. Its base is similar to the Altitude minus the trim-specific exterior accents. It also adds a more upscale interior, including genuine leather seating and a larger touch screen. This is also the point in the lineup where you can add the trailering upgrade. The Overland adds some off-road-oriented mechanical enhancements and is now the most off-road-capable of the standard models. It also adds even more amenities and technologies to the Limited package. At the top of the heap is the high-end Summit, and it’s also available with the Summit Reserve package, which adds premium leather seating, open-pore interior wood trim, special 21-inch wheels, and much more.
